Walker signed a new contract at the end of September, then halfway through the season he became a problem? Either he all of a sudden became a dickhead or he was tapped up.

kramer on ftl - its a bit friend of a friend told me but hes got 14 000 posts and his info is not being ridiculed on ftl, like itk always is on that forum:
Spurs info - nothing new really but

So one of my clients knows some chaps who are fairly close to Levy, one of them them meets Levy on a seemingly fairly regular basis,
Fairly good, I'd say!

So if Wimmer leaves, as I've been expecting for several months, and we continue the use of three CBs, surely we should soon be linked to plenty of new, decent CBs?

So per Grey Fox: 3-4 signings , 2 youngsters, 1 household name.

Per Dhov: An explosive player to play with / backup to Kane, Walker and Wimmer out (meaning a RB and a CB in).

Trix: Walker most likely first team player leaving, not much chance of anyone else leaving.

Per everyone: Sessegnon close

So in summary, I'm guessing we could be looking at this:

Explosive attacking player (I'm guessing the "household name" will be an attacking player. Lemar? Costa? Not really strikers, though...)
Youngster 1 = Sessegnon
Youngster 2 = some CB as replacement for Wimmer (a young player will be more likely to be ok with a bit part role if Toby, Jan & Dier all stay)
Right Back = ? (no real links besides Alves?)

This is, of course, if everyones info is current and holds up. Big if, I know, but the real conclusion here is that there isn't room for Ross Barkley if we are only looking at 3-4 players. I can live with that.

All right except JJ poo'd on Costa as media speculation.

Sessegnon also above someone said we have a lot of competition. Fingers crossed on that.

So one of my clients knows some chaps who are fairly close to Levy, one of them them meets Levy on a seemingly fairly regular basis, anyway my clients likes to pass on info to me as he knows I'm basically very nosey...

Nothing we either already didn't know or can guess but I thought the odd Spurs post would provide a bit of light relief.

Levy currently values us at £1.5b and expects this to reach £2b on the completion of the stadium, purchasers already lined up, if this is more than one interested party i don't know. Levy loves his job and is in no rush

Walker, halfway through the season he became a problem, club not overly bothered about him going, it will be big bucks as we all know. He will be the only first teamer sold this summer. Wimmer also going as he wants to play, the club want him to stay but understand he needs games.

Incoming players, they want to keep Janssen and add another striker to play with/back up for Kane, looking for an "explosive player" presumably meaning pace with Wembley in mind next season. A right back to replace Walker, not clear if it is a first teamer or if Trippier is being given a go.

Lastly everyone at the club knows we propped a bollock with Sissoko and we will get rid, the trouble is finding a team to take him

Walker not been a problem from the stuff I have heard. The Sissoko stuff is right, but as for the rest:confused:

I've always seen Barkley as a backup for us loosing one of our CMs this summer i.e. Eriksen or Alli (or Dembele at a stretch) and not a primary target

Would love an explosive forward as an option but don't see how there are many out there that aren't a) already at top clubs b) already been identified and are being touted around all clubs i.e. the lad from Monaco. I thought Son and N'Koudou were supposed to be that for us already - does that mean one of them is not seen as having a future (not Son)?

Sessegnon is a young Rose from what I've seen (or has the ability to be) - would love that to be secured but can see why all the top teams in England and some abroad would be interested. Still a little disappointed we didn't get M.Dembele mk2 from them last year and hope we don't let this one slip through our fingers.

Wimmer will not be a huge loss as I think CCV stood in just as well when called upon but I would question the depth at CB if we stick with 3 at the back.

Walker - I was gutted when it looked like there were problems as it was by far his best season in both attacking and defencing (something he's never been able to balance previously) however, Tripp is a better footballer in both areas and the improved general composition of the team means the reliability on Walkers pace to get us out of trouble is generally less than it was NB don't look at the FA cup semi final first 4 minutes......

Well, that timescale would tie in rather neatly with Guardiola reportedly deciding end Dec/early Jan that he "wanted" Walker.
IF this is the case, I hope (but doubt) Levy will give Oil Well FC both barrels.
And not barrels of oil!

If we buy Sessegnon, we can let Wimmer go IMO. We could move Davies to LCB position , which he also plays for Wales.

I'd be very surprised if this wasn't the case. Why would anyone suspect otherwise?
I'm surprised that one would take it for granted that both definitely are staying. All my own opinions, of course. Highly ambitious players. Not saying ambitions can't be fulfilled within Spurs, but ambitions can lead them to weigh their options.

In what universe is Davies above our current level?
