Dier isn't the greatest footballer ever, but his mentality is crucial to what we do and how we play.
Utd can fuck right off.

I keep looking at the ITK and I still don't get any way close to it being about Dier.
Got to be Leicester and that leads me to Demarai Grey.
What if he wants to leave?
I think of our first XI players from last year, Dier and Walker are the two we can most afford to lose in terms of playing ability.
But it's more the message it sends out if we lose two of our first team players to teams that finished comfortably below us.
Pretty fucking depressing to be honest. Hope it's something of nothing.

Dier, leaves me feeling what an ungrateful bastard. We plucked him from obscurity ffs.
I can't help feeling that half these players won't be as good as they think they are when they go to pastures new.
Look at Liverpool.
People keep saying this about Dier. But he's started 96 matches for us in two seasons. There comes a point where you have to admit that Pochettino clearly sees him as first choice.Dier is in all honesty not first choice in any position he plays even though he is important for us.
The problem is and this isn't a shot at you - but the quote in your sig would go against everything that, if true, the Dier move is about.Although i dont actively want any one of our first teamers to leave i could accept walker and dier if it was daft money. Every player has an amount you can't say no to.

Selling a player for an acceptable amount, doesnt necessarily make us a selling club
He just went to Hoffenheim. However, he would have been a straight swap for Wimmer as an LCB.You guys can all calm down I have figured it out.
Life of Brian star is John Cleese.
The story of Romeo and Juliet was taken from a narrative by Arthur Brooke called The Tragical History of Romeus and Juliet.
John Brooks is an American Player we are in for John Brooks
Dang back to the drawing boardHe just went to Hoffenheim. However, he would have been a straight swap for Wimmer as an LCB.
What if Rose wants to leave? What if Eriksen does? Alli? Toby?
There comes a point where we have to draw the line, send a firm message that we won't be selling key players ( and especially not to title rivals).

Dier is going to be a seriously, seriously good centre-back by the time he's Toby's age: we'd be criminally negligent to let a talent like that slip through our hands.
umm....Spurs and Modric re: Chelski?I get that from a Club reputation and media perception stance. But I don't see what we stand to gain from keeping a player that would prefer to be playing for another club, if a suitable bid has come in.
I can't recall many instances where this has worked in the favour of a club in recent years.
