Yeah he did regarding Lahm but the point is he still improved them not to mention Rafinha as well. I don't see what there is to argue really.

Well, the argument is that all three of your examples were outstanding and highly successful footballers before Pep got hold of them.

No that's not the argument at all, that's your argument, the argument has stemmed from this comment:

I'm not sure what the allure for defender is playing for Guardiola

Hence me bringing up full backs who have improved under Guardiola no matter how good they were before, they still improved.

Maybe Pep has a master plan of putting Walker in midfield? :bookworm:

It's the same argument, you'd just rather not follow the thread of it because you've been proved wrong. (y)

lol it's the same argument when I've just literally just pointed out the difference between what you're saying compared to what I'm saying?, okay it's the summer holidays and you're clearly bored...let's leave it there shall we ;)

I was taking issue with examples you gave in answer to the OP's original point about why a defender would want to play for Pep.

You’re either to obtuse to recognise that it was part of the same argument, or you simply don’t want to because you know the examples you gave failed to prove your point in any way.

A little from Column A, a little from Column B, I suspect.

I note that shiteh are going to let Kelechi Iheanacho go, but I understand they will not sell to a rival,Us. So why don't we reciprocate?

He pushed them up another level.

Did he really though? arguably BM were a better side with Jupp Heynckes in charge with back to back CL finals. Lahm played both and Alaba one.

And the season before Poch came I honestly beleived KW would be moved on, But now were talking about him as the best RB in England and one of the best in Europe.

No need to take my word for it:

Besides I'm not trying to compare Poch to Pep...I'm simply saying that there's evidence out there that suggests that Pep can improve full backs hence the reason why KW might want to work under him.

In the article you're lazily digging out in defence of your argument it literally says this:

"When Guardiola arrived at the club, Alaba was widely seen as one of the best left backs in the world"

Give up ffs.

if I had to pick one player from our first XI to be sold it would be Walker don't want to see him go but would not be crushed if he did

would rather he not go to a top 4 rival tho
