Toby contract would be better than pretty much any signing, bar Messi or Ronaldo.

Like that... seems logical. Certainly wouldn't be dissapointed either, as it was definitely something that needed tying up.

A release clause would be mad nowadays..the rate of inflated prices, 50 mil is a lot now but might be pennies down the line.

If it is about contract extensions, a good strategy would be to announce a bunch of them at once. That would be a cheap and magnificent PR stunt, sending out feel-good vibes.
