I'm not asking to spend loads of money. I was thinking along the same lines as Son. There must be a player playing in the top 5 leagues that's similar quality to him or about his level (when he was at Leverkusen as last season he surpassed what we expected) that we could get for a sensible price that wouldn't cost the earth in wages.

That's what I thought our new scouts were meant to be doing. Finding players to improve the squad. Not finding much at the moment it seems from outside the club.
Exactly how I feel. There seems to be this notion that there aren't any affordable players who would walk straight into the first time (which is true for some positions, but not all), but we absolutely need a stronger squad overall. Our first 11 is great, but they can't play every game and we always get injuries.

I would take a punt on this kid, was disapointed when we weren't in for him when he left Brum a couple of years back. Didn't he tear us a new one in the Cup a couple of years ago (maybe the Chilwell game?), definitely something of a player in there.

There is potential, I grant you, but I don't really see much more potential than already what N'Koudou brings. And I can only assume that the price tag would be really steep for a player that maybe works out. Thing is, we can't buy every single player with potential. Gray has some very irritating habits, such as kicking the ball with no specific aim, just hoping for the best, insisting on dribbling when a simple pass would be superior, and generally the erratic behaviour of a teenager getting laid for the first time.

Hard not to think this would be the attacking player that the ITK's are mentioning. A player that regrets his choice of move and a "good European team"...

All points to Leicester to me. That said, he can't regret having his PL winners medal too much and it was said it would improve us attacking wise. I genuinely can't see how he'd be seriously competing for minutes with Alli, Eriksen, Son, Lamela and Barkley if he arrives. Decent young player but nothing more. I hope I'd be wrong

Edit: ignore me I'm a twat...

Assuming the price is similar I think i'd prefer King to Gray despite the age difference.

I dont see Gray and King as similar players personally.

I'd be happy to take both, though I doubt very much that will happen.

like the look of this fellow a lot....think Poch could do wonders.
Although if we are keeping GKN, getting Barkley and Simeone am not sure if he makes the cut

Why dont we sign a player that is already top quality, not a player that needs a couple of years of coaching to probably become half decent.
