And the Trips debate vs Walker goes on
Theres no fucking debate. Walker is miles better. We sold the best fucking RB in the fleague to a league rival without a fucking replacement. All because of a small fucking disagreement Poch and him had. Poch is way too fucking stubborn sometimes.

Not just the players bottling it at Wembley.

This whole "curse" is just the players and the manager believing it, even the fact Kane can't score in August is all mentality related.

Funny how Burnley spend £15M on a player and he comes up to score the goal that equalises it for them, it's almost like if you sign players early, before the season starts, you are then prepared for the season ahead.

I wonder when we will learn that fucking lesson? What a joke.
Er, they signed him two days ago...

Disappointed with Kane as well, 92nd minute and Burnley are attacking, he is doing his laces up and strolling back after, should be defending as a team, fucking pathetic.

Piss poor performance, very slow build up and we look totally clueless in the creativity dept. Tripper poor for the goal, but ffs just keep the ball and run the clock down.

I really like Trippier but he has had a shocking start to the season unfortunately. Mind you so have Eriksen and Kane.

Regardless of the transfer window and selling Walker etc.

Even with our best 11 last year (when we had Walker) we looked woeful at Wembley, the extra 5m in length seems to fuck our players in playing the high line and compressing the opposition, thus our closing down is way off.

That being said, i'm upset but not pissed off because Burnley deserved a draw. We were lethargic, no real leadership was shown out there again and after the goal the game was there for us to finish it off, but too many players were not at the races.

Such a shocking game to actually sit through, i was literally bored watching us. Rose and Aurier (if Rose stays, if we buy Aurier) are much needed, as we have no conviction out wide currently and teams have nothing to fear from us out wide. Literally have two full backs who are more than content to receive the ball and pass it back to the CBs.

Really disappointed with how we applied ourselves today, Dele looked quite dangerous, that was the only really positive from a complete shit show.

This game typified how important Eriksen is to everything we do, if he's off the boil we really struggle for guile and as a result can't break teams down. A fullback is a must before deadline day.
And yet we don't seem to be after another creative midfielder of a similar nature when CE isn't firing.
Terrible decision to bring on Sissoko. In any game, for any reason.

This is what happens when you wake up 3/4 through a transfer window.

Fucking fuming.

I couldn't believe what I was watching. We are great at keeping position, but for some reason we can't do that when it's obviously needed. This myth about Wembley has got in the players' brains.
If so it's no myth anymore

They only signed Wood last week? As for us we should have enough to beat Burnley anyway!
Not all doom and gloom they beat Chelsea on the opening day!

Players let themselves down, but something felt a little off all game.

We didn't do things we normally do.

Even though this was a terrible result, the fact that Arsenal just got smashed 4-0 kind of makes up for it. I'm surprisingly not suicidal at the moment.
