It's the same every window, spurs pr says we've got player x or player y lined up, we all buy into it, and we sign a 32 year old back up.

Yea it's the hope that kills you! You would think we would learn even a little each time it happens..

Best way to look at it ,as long as nobody leaves .we possible now need 2 players for a complete squad that's discounting any more youth coming through.

You can't sort your whole team out in one window...

It's the same fucking moaning every window yet we continue to progress!

The same moaning bastards will be waxing lyrical over Sanchez and Aurier in a couple of months.

We have never looked so strong period.

Get a grip this isn't fantasy football.

Good window all in all.

Swapped Wimmer and Walker for Sanchez and Aurier who in my opionion are upgrades.

Lorente will cover Kane very well if he gets injured or just hits a dry spell. These last few weeks (even the Newcastle win) we could have done with another option.

Yes no pacey winger (Gelson Martins YouTube video got me very excited last night) but we are still one hell of a team. The best I have seen in my lifetime (28)

Patience, we have 3 pacy wingers lined up they said. How did all 3 fall through fucksake. Loving our team regardless and had written the Wembley season off before we started while expecting no attacking signings but damn does it feel disappointing..

Only time will tell if the window was good or bad, i am still not sure to be honest, but weird all the positive ITK regarding what we were attempting to do and for all that to transpire to Llorente?

And apparently we started negotiations for him yesterday! Typical window, would love for one time all our plans to pay dividends

yes, but we never heard that from Poch or Levy. So we dont know who was off the mark, Levy or the ITK.

Of course we haven't heard this from Poch or Levy. We heard it from the ITKs. If you don't believe that the ITKs are speaking from a position of knowledge as to what's happening at the Club then what's the point of listening to their pearls of information on this forum for starters? And I believe that we heard the same message from several ITKs.

The bottom line, however, with Tottenham Hotspur (at least in the last few years) is that we can expect a net spend of zero. Or very close to it. And Levy can say whatever he wants regarding the stadium build not impacting transfers - but the history of the Club's spending on transfers is there for all to see.

Maybe there'll be a surprise announcement as to that fast forward - I hope so - but my expectation is that we will end up with a net spend zero (or close to it) once this window closes. Whoever is brought in.

Tottenham

Scored the most goals last season
Conceded the fewest goals last season
Top league goal scorer last season
Pfa young player of the year
Assist king in Eriksen
Rose/lamela coming back into squad

Just added a 15 goal a season striker
Just added a league winning right back
Broke transfer record for defender
Add one of the best young cb prospects

Really not sure what all you moaners are moaning about?

Can't believe we're gonna go another season with Sissoko as our main AM back up (I'm not considering Lamela in the equation until I witness him kicking a ball).
