Although doesn't look like he touched the ball or the man.

I wrote that on first viewing without the replay, he was lucky not get reprimanded but to even be able to get there in the first place saved a one on one.

It's about time Rashford took advantage of his strengths as a winger and stopped trying to be a striker. His goalscoring record is tragic but he can beat a man like nobody else England has. The sooner Rashford/Bertrand/Ox stop taking pot shots and start feeding the ball into Kane the more likely we win, it ain't complicated

For the most part its been 45 mins of messy, uncontrolled, rushed bollocks.

Am I surprised, no. That's what you will get with the players in this squad. Until we find/develop some central players who can put their foot on the ball, control the game, and pick the lock then it's going to follow this pattern.

Centre of the park has been grim. Goal or not, this has been another example of why Dier isn't a centre mid, and especially not in a cm2. He'll scrap at close quarters, but covering ground is not his forte and when any pace gets injected into the play, quick one-twos etc, he is blown away. And that's before we get onto what he does and doesn't offer with the ball. Henderson is just charging around like a headless chicken, to the benefit of nobody. In front of this you've then got effectively four forwards. No wonder it's end to end...

God, we are utter turd. How was Southgate qualified for this job?

We looked comfortable in qualifying under the Hodge but we are struggling against complete mediocrity here (in b4 bad joke about England being mediocre)

I can't even see there being the delusional, blind optimism we usually get before a World Cup next June. Everything about the national team is completely underwhelming nowadays.

Walker should be off, clearly touched him.

Where? Honestly doesn't look like he touched him upper body or with his feet, the guy gets his feet confused trying to make Walker over run it. Walker stays on his feet doesn't stick his foot out and doesn't shoulder charge him.

I honestly can't see any contact, no interest in defending Walker...he is dead to me
