Alli's making himself a good outlet but he's given the ball away a fair few times this half
I think he's been England's best player so far, though not much competition.
Walker's back to his brainfarting best.
Noxious Chamberpot the weakest link, a fair bit of competition.

Where? Honestly doesn't look like he touched him upper body or with his feet, the guy gets his feet confused trying to make Walker over run it. Walker stays on his feet doesn't stick his foot out and doesn't shoulder charge him.

I honestly can't see any contact, no interest in defending Walker...he is dead to me

You're looking in the wrong place, knee to knee is the contact.

Lallana is needed, shame he went and died in the summer or whatever it was that happened

You may have no interest in defending Walker but plenty of salty spurs fans have an interest in bad mouthing his every touch. It's akin to a bird dumping you and you telling your mates that she had a smelly fanny. I find it mildly amusing.

For the most part its been 45 mins of messy, uncontrolled, rushed bollocks.

Am I surprised, no. That's what you will get with the players in this squad. Until we find/develop some central players who can put their foot on the ball, control the game, and pick the lock then it's going to follow this pattern.

Centre of the park has been grim. Goal or not, this has been another example of why Dier isn't a centre mid, and especially not in a cm2. He'll scrap at close quarters, but covering ground is not his forte and when any pace gets injected into the play, quick one-twos etc, he is blown away. And that's before we get onto what he does and doesn't offer with the ball. Henderson is just charging around like a headless chicken, to the benefit of nobody. In front of this you've then got effectively four forwards. No wonder it's end to end...

Winks the saviour of the England team?...and that's not sarcasm.

Dier's the only one putting any pressure on the ball in midfield (and he's won possession plenty of times) but because Henderson is doing nothing he's always outnumbered.

Dele playing really well. Just needs a pass.

Harry is Harry, no service so he'll go looking for them himself.

England desperately need an Eriksen style of midfielder, winks can definitely do that job.

Great run by Dele

Why doesn't Headlesschicken, sorry I mean Henderson take the corners?

We need 10-15 players like him coming through though. Not just pinning it on the odd one to be a saviour.

Dier's the only one putting any pressure on the ball in midfield (and he's won possession plenty of times) but because Henderson is doing nothing he's always outnumbered.

I don't think that's any different to what I said really. Dier can scrap at close quarters and break up play, but covering ground and being quick off the mark... As I said agree Henderson is charging about to no benefit for the team.

We are turning into a CM production line so you may get those 10...;)
