Feeling neither Aurier or Sanchez will start.travelling back from Africa and South America doubt either will train till Thursday ,then presume travel Friday .Id rather they started but we aren't desperate they do.

That's why it's so frustrating having to buy players late in the window, that coupled with the timing of the internationals and that's possibly 4 games gone already without the new boys (other than 2 mins or whatever it was at the end of last game)

so who should we of tried to sign early to replace Walker? because Aurier's court case was only decided just over a week ago that would allow him a visa to even enter the UK.

Chelsea have a history of trying to out muscle us when our targets are mentioned

Don't see why you wouldn't pick the best 11 despite the fact some of our new signings haven't trained with the team. Aurier is a vet and might get caught out once or twice, but he offers the pace and the attack we need on a wing that we have desperately been needing.

DS TA JV
SA VW MD BD
CE DA
HK

Still feel HMS is shy with his arm injury so would keep him as a super sub.

Realistically is Aurier likely to play this weekend anyway? Ivory Coast play Tuesday night, so probably won't train with the players 'til Wednesday/Thursday depending on when he flies in after the game. Gives him at most three training sessions with the team.
Nope. This is spot on. I don't see Poch throwing in a guy that has been with the team only a couple of days. That said, it will be difficult not to play him in one of these two games, so maybe a few days more until Dortmund doesn't add a lot. I still expect it to be Trippier this weekend and Aurier midweek.

I think the objective of the thread is to pick a team who you would like to see play and not to try and second guess Poch. If its to pick the team for Poch then the whole thread would be redundant

Trippier to start, then give Aurier the last 20mins in preparation for the Dortmund game

I think the objective of the thread is twofold. Say what you want the team to be, and discuss what the team might be. It's not called "Who would you pick vs Everton", it's broader than that.

Also when you've got nearly everyone picking players who have had virtually no training sessions with the club I feel that warrants discussion. We have what is probably the most coached, and best coached backline in the division. To act like players just just stroll into that does a disservice to our coaches and players. I'm as keen to see the new players as anyone, but we're a different beast to the teams we were before where we could just drop someone in. We're a well oiled machine now, and players need to know their roles inside out.

I'll be more interested to see how Everton line up, as they have signed a large number of players who will need time to gel and maybe now is the best time to play them. In all honesty, whilst they have spent lots of money, I don't think they've bought any world beaters or players we should be over afraid of. No Barkely and Lukaku to worry about for this game.. Rooney's head won't be right, and Siggy is Siggy..

I'll just be delighted to see some genuine options on the bench in this one, with hopefully Rose and Lamela soon to follow.

Can't see Pochettino putting any new signings straight in unless Trippier isn't fit.
Reckon we'll go...

Lloris; Alderweireld, Dier, Vertonghen; Trippier, Wanyama, Dembele, Davies; Dele, Eriksen; Kane
