Very odd situation, alot more has gone on than we know.
Not really. We signed a player who wasn't good enough, now we're moving him on. Just like Stambouli, NJie etc.

No one comes from loan unless it's a young player going for development
I'm sad for his departure, I believe it is way premature and he should have gotten all of this season with a fair shot at making it. But just like I said about Wimmer, it matters not if the player is "good" or "poor". Without the full faith of the manager, without being played by the manager, the player must move on.I got a lot of negative ratings for saying he wasn't of the required standard. I don't see anyone lamenting his departure though....
I agree GlacierSpur. Was at the PSG game in Orlando early in preseason. They had to go out and do full length sprints after playing 45 minutes (and it wasn't that hot). He was lagging behind the rest of the guys just at average pace running and then he was noticeably out of breath and doubling over after each sprint. His running style was awkward but it was clear he just wasn't in the same physical condition as the other guys.
Disappointing because I still think he has something there that could make a good striker in the Premier League.
I've always felt the "scores one and then he'll start a run" is always a romatic myth for players we like but you can see when a player just isn't putting it together.
Llorente isn't blessed with pace but his brain is quick.Llorente's not exactly Linford Christie...

Fenerbache playing Istanbul Basaksehir tomorrow. Soldado and Janssen against Adebayor.
