He was just saying he was held up in a queue with his 8 year old Son & got into his seat 5 minutes after first half.
After the cock up that was our CL run last year? And considering our former 'Wembley issues" I don't find it surprising. People will pack it out now I think.
Rose will have to fight for his place to get back in this team. Davies has grown consistently since he has had a run of games. Looked solid tonight defensively, was getting into attacking positions, playing balls...
Looks a more complete player than Rose. Dare I say it, when Dortmund were at their strongest in spells in the game - I think Rose could've done a "headless chicken" (Walker style) and lost possession to Dortmund which they could've capitalised on when it was heavily congested in the middle of the park.
Decent left back in Rose as a back up though. (Not feeling so fucking prolific now are you Danny boy?!)
A load of fans had issues with their access cards today, many had not been activated with the Match ticket for the game. Took us an hour from trying to enter initially until we finally got in, 5 minutes before half time. Many Many others were in the same situation. Poor from the clubWhere were they queuing?

People vastly underrate what a decent run in the team can do for a players sharpness, all round ability and building a working understanding with team mates. As a result, people can also be too unforgiving over the form of players that only rotate in and out and only receive intermittent playing time.

Think it goes to show that he's a true Spurs fan...Anyone notice how negative Jermaine Jenas was tonight? Takes me back to his playing career for us when he used to go missing or when we would bottle games and truly made me feel this is the same mentality he had on the pitch, and a mentality that was probably shared or influenced by him on the pitch and in the dressing room.
E.g. we're 1-0 up and concede a goal in the 70th minute....Jermaine's thoughts "we're gonna lose this now", we go a goal down inside 10 minutes...."we're gonna lose this now" etc etc.
I think he's a good pundit, he's definitely more intelligent than your average pundit....but tonight felt like a window into his mentality when he was a player. Nice bloke, a bit weak though.
I wondered what had changed. Suddenly Dembele was winning the ball; Eriksen was pulling strings... it was such a subtle shift yet had so much impact.Talk about the goals.... And the referee decisions...
But what won us the game was what Poch did during half time...
Dier & Dembele... Sticking close to Pulisic and Yarmolenko. Bring Eriksen back as a deep lying playmaker. Isolating Aubameyang.
Poch won the game during half time... Gave us a more defensive onset, and we defended well and deserved the win.
I saw a Wonan in the crowd with a banner that read SC Spurs. All day I said we were going to win, and they laughed at me. That was fucking fantastic.
The best hug you can get is from a stranger when spurs scores haha
