Not often I say this but Eriksen has been our worst player.

He’s a great player no doubt, but he needs a rocket up his arse because he seems like he has serious stage fright.

It’s not the first time he’s disappeared in an important game either.

he's taking too long to release the ball in attacking positions

The last-ditch tackle wasn't the error. The guy was the middle of goal six yards out FFS. The error was Aurier and whoever that was on the touchline fucking about and losing it in our third in the dying minutes of the half, when it should have just been booted down the channel. It's very small percentages at this level, you've got to play smart for 100% of the time, not 99% unfortunately or you get punished.

We've battled well overall and been disciplined. Been disappointed with Eriksen though, he's not at it at all. Kane/Llorente got no partnership, with or without the ball, either.

Such a terrible time to concede, would rip your hand off for a draw but that goal has changed things massively...

Seriously Aurier needs to sort himself out though, all summer chasing him and he reminds me of Chiriches/Fazio buy at present, mistake in every game and costing us big time...

Lets hope he can get himself sorted on the pitch, less time on insta Aurier please and sort it!

PLEASE see this out lads, so proud of that first half up until Aurier being an idiot AGAIN
Don't forget to mention Aurier.

I knew we would give away a penalty ,inevitable.
In his defence I think he makes that challenge because he was tripped in build up to real goal. Ref not giving us much. Was clear pen. Needs to learn to keep cool if doesn't get his decision

Fucking hell ...

lol even I laughed at how bizzare that statement was, we have been tactically perfect and were 1-0 up, one silly mistake is the only reason Real are back in this.

Can't please some people, if we would have come out gung ho and been 5-0 down by now they would be complaining as well.

You lot are being unfair to Aurier. Kroos was just about to shoot so would have blatantly scored
He had to make the challenge. It's all well and good McManaman saying the ball was going loose and Toby was able to clear it, but Aurier had already committed himself before the heavy Kroos touch.

I don't blame Aurier for making the challenge, just a shame the ball had already gone.

How many games has 24 year old aurier played for us and I'm already seeing liability, and not gonna last with us been thrown around because Tony bloody kros had him on toast.

Jesus truly wept folks

IF Aurier gets sent off for a stupid foul he has to be dropped for a long long long time

I’d keep Llorente on, leave things as they are for now, we are doing ok. Maybe swap Sissoko for Son, we need to try and keep the ball in midfield, and that’s just not in Sissoko’s skill set.

Good timimg for the end of the first half, Real looked likely to grab a second if they had another 5 mins.

Time to re-group, re-focus and get back out there. Like to see Son in place of Llorente, with a bit more pace we can get at them.

Why? Aurier was nowhere near the ball, whereas the Madrid player nicked the ball away from Llorente.
And for LLorente the ball was still there to be played if he wasn't taken out by Casemiro. It was a pen no doubt about it.

That’s hard to swallow that pen when we needed one earlier. Damn.

So very proud of Winks tonight. There are guys out there with 50 or more international caps playing less freely than him.
