I fucking love this man, give him a 10 year contract. Slightly worrying about talk with some of the players though, personally I think they would be fools to make a move right now when we are on the cusp of something great and have such a great team spirit and the best manager in the league, we are inches away from achieving something truly special.

We are the only team in history to have picked up this many points at home in a season and gone unbeaten and not won the league, that should tell us something.

The guy just oozes class in everything he says. He has no interest in dissing other teams or managers and just looks at what we need to do to improve. I love how he is single minded on winning the league. I love how he doesn't make excuses. I love that he says "I will be here next season, don't worry". I bet journos will be unhappy with that as it gives them one less clickbait story to go with.

The guy has earnt our trust to do whatever he wants in terms of transfers in my view. He is calm yet assertive, insightful, knowledgeable, supportive, passionate. Just a perfect fit for our amazing club.

Won't stop them posting shit. Sky do an interview with Dele where he says he's at a great place to learn and could stay here for his whole career. They chose to rehash to Dele says you never know in football and could go to Madrid next year. They will post what they want regardless of facts. I wish the PL would take a leaf out of the German league and start suing the media for lies they post.

Awwwww. Ain't he great!

Agreed. Funny, in a gentle way, and very encouraging for the kids to ask their questions. He strikes me as someone who really likes to nurture young people and to support their aims and dreams.

I was unconvinced about Poch until this season, never been so happy to have been proved a complete numpty.

Since May? Fuck...

The tactical discussion about 16 minutes in... basically, the coaching staff try to make decisions so that the team will win, but they don't always get it right. Even so, they stick by it...or something like that.

Brilliant.

Just coming in to post that. It's probably the best press conference I've seen where the journalists are actually asking football questions and not the usual guff about other things.

I would really recommend everyone to watch the bit you're talking about (that lasts 5/6 minutes) because I think it really summerises what the manager/coaches want and expect from our players. If you're a thick unflexible player, you're not going to last very long (makes me wonder how he's done so well with the English lads since he's been in the country, they obviously aren't being coached right in other places mentally and tactically).

It dovetails nicely with how he talks about Sanchez in the last 40 seconds, who based on his performances so far and the coaches lack of time to work with him one on one has done so well.

Yes , major presser this with important info from Poch . I'm delighted with this new flexible string to Poch's bow myself. We are now less predictable .
He mentioned 3 times that Rose's behaviour is in the past , indicating to me that Rose's outburst had a major effect on Poch/the club at the time.He also said Rose has learned what not to say...which I somehow doubt ! . We'll see if Rose is genuinely forgiven in due course .

As said by above poster , a seriously informative presser . Wanyama is the depressing part , not looking good . Dembers too :(
