Just like to point out that the Sky conspiracy against Spurs continues to know no bounds, with their 3 in-studio pundits having all represented either Spurs, or Spurs *and* Liverpool, for a game between Spurs and Man Utd. Those bloody Sky bastards are just so biased against us!!

I'm glad somebody sees it.

I reckon anyone complaining of bias should have the courage of their convictions and turn the telly off :D

How do you know that Son is playing as a lone striker, how do you know that he's not playin in a false role like he did a against Man City for example?

I find the calls for Llorente perplexing especially when he's played he has been pretty average when called upon and we know that Son can do a job playing as a front man for us.

Llorente was very good against the best team in the world, Real Madrid. He generated two golden chances for us to win the match. Against West Ham, he created our first goal and got virtually no service the rest of the match. His other appearances in the league have been short cameos. This is arguably the most difficult league fixture of the season given the venue and opposition, which I think would've suited an older, experienced player in a focal point position.

Whether Son has been playing as a lone striker or as a false nine, it isn't a role that traditionally suits him for club or country against physical defenders. Everyone remembers City at WHL last season, but their backline was atrocious that day, and in subsequent matches, Son didn't play well when give additional responsibilities.

Like I said in my post previously, I think we'll get something today, but I just feel Llorente would've been a better option as a target man against three physical center backs.

Will be interesting. Just hope son can get hold of the ball and keep it. Otherwise i can see us being toothless.

Looks a good line up, strong in midfield and nice to see Poch keep faith with Son.

Neee some big performances from Alli, Eriksen and Son today.

Let’s hope we’re not as timid as we were at OT last season.

Good lineup from Poch. Son will scare their back 3 far more with his pace than Llorente. 4 at the back allows an extra man in midfield. I’m feeling a bit more confident today after yesterday’s slit my wrists moment when Kane was announced as injured. If the players are bang up for this I think we’ll do em (y)

Yes, it was a poor performance last year - lets hope Poch has reinforced that today
