Will they bollocks.
It's ok because we're winning the cl or title.
Will they bollocks.
I said this to a friend earlier and I will repeat it here.
Truth be told, I am really struggling to get up for games at the moment, I have no idea why, sick of football in general at the moment, had to motivate myself to watch today and I can't remember ever having to do that.
I just feel like football is a money game now and no matter how much we improve we will always be lagging behind because of our finances.
The idea of seeing someone like Walker fuck off to City and win the league in his first season just pisses me off and tells me that our players will be looking at that thinking "Why should I even bother here when I can sign there for more money and win trophies?"
When you add that alongside all the bullshit decisions, the refusal to bring in video evidence to make the game more fair and just my general detest for how prawn sandwich brigade football has become it makes it difficult for me to enjoy it.
Nights like Real Madrid are magical but the week in week out of football, even when we are winning, is just draining for me, I feel like it does not matter what we do, we will always fall behind unless we spend boatloads of money and if we did that it wouldn't feel as special anyway.
I felt this way before we even kicked a football today and this game hasn't helped matters.
Maybe it's just a phase and I will snap out of it, I don't know, just fed up with football at the moment.
We even have a shit record against West ham in recent years as well I think they have won than we have. The thing is when it was our cup final we barely ever won.
If you heard his voice, then you'd laugh. I put it there, because it seemed a good a place as any.Oh right, i'm not sure what to do with this statement tbh ...
Shelfboy68 likes to be negative.Come on mate, we're all disappointed but it's just one match, one match they always turn up for.
That's the spirit riggster! It's ok because we're winning the cl or title.
Before the game I was wondering what side we would put out, because I think Poch's main focus at the moment is finishing top of the CL group. If he gets that then he'll start concentrating on the league more.Don't understand all these 'it was their cup final' comments.
Arsenal had, probably their strongest team out today.
We have a few important players out injured and other players not fully recovered from recent or long term injuries.
If we had our strongest team out today, and fully fit, we would have beaten this Arsenal side, irrespective of any
'contentious' referee decisions.
Regardless of today's result, we are still in strong position to finish in one of the CL spots at the end of the season.
Today was just a blip. We'll probably have a couple more before the season is out but as long as we stay close to the top of the table, we should be fine.

Jamie Redknapp still has an axe to grind.
Yep agree with that, but we've still got CL last two years running even while losing these sort of games so I don't think too much can be gauged from today's performance...Harry doesn't look quite there, Eriksen looked shot due to internationals and Toby missing all played a part today I think.Yeah I know mate I am angry not going to lie but it's the usual shit isn't it regularly losing games against the big rivals away year on year.
Looking at it today we are still short in certain areas and the mindset of belieing we can win there is again not there yet, still much work to be done.
The LC v MC game is showing why they will run away with the league. Leicester pressed them high, City played through it. City dropped off and played on the break when needed. City kept the ball when needed. And when really needed it they took Leicester apart and scored a brilliant team goal.
Yes, it is foreign money induced, but they are a level ahead of most in the PL now.
