I swear he's gone from being the most polarising player in the squad to being unanimously considered the saviour. I'm glad he's back and I've always been a fan, but there's no way he can live up to this level of expectation.
Well we need creativity in the side and we need our pressing back. Lamela offers both.

Yeah true. Hopefully he doesn't decide to have a heavy night on the charlie in celebration tonight and get banned for another year....

On the contrary, I reckon the whole team could do with a few lines before most of our league games at Wembley :D.

The last time we played well at Wembley in the league was against Liverpool. Who was there st the time?

Maradonna

Coincidence? I think not.

Great to have him back

Absolutely no pressure on him but i expect us to go on a 27 game winning streak now and lift both the CL & Prem

I would Keegan love it if he bags one tomorrow and does the ol' Robbie Fowler line of charlie celebration whips off his top displaying a t shirt that reads "fack off Francis Gibbs" and then headbutts Jamie Vardy.

Or is it just me?

Delighted to hear he is coming back as he will be a great option for us. No idea how he will do but I hope he does well.

Can't believe this thread has 40+ pages already for a new signing!? I mean, I guess it's an unparalleled feat by Levy, signing a brand new player in November, just when we needed it the most, even if the TF window is closed. This is really ingenious. Erik what was his name? Wait ... ehm ...:eek:

Great to have him back but we need to slow down with the expectations (I realise most are in jest)

I'm just hoping for no relapses or negative reactions. As long as hes getting minutes and he becomes more comfortable and confident in how he feels out there then I'll be happy.

It's because you don't know what you've got until it's gone.

It would be the same scenario if we ever lost Son for a long period of time. He can be insanely frustrating, but quite frankly offers us something no other player can. Like Lamela.

Can't wait to see him back on the pitch

Neither can Poch

“I think for the team it is important,” he said. “To have another option to play, to have the capacity to play in a different way, for the team it is very healthy. I think we miss his energy – his energy is massive. You can feel when he is on the pitch he is always available to run, to press. And when he has the ball he has the capacity to beat opponents. I think we miss him because he is a completely different option.”

The same with public enemy no.1 Dele. Soon everyone would be crying out for a goal out of nothing whilst we're struggling against [insert generic bus parking boring ****s] and then maybe, maybe, will realise where said goals usually come from
