I think he is saying more than that. He is telling Levy that there are consequences to his incompetence in our incomings and that we are seeing the consequences now. He is just saying it in typical classy Poch style, which in many ways makes the message even more effective.It's not really a swipe, more exerting a little pressure.
We leave our business late some of the time, all he's saying is we could do with planning differently so this doesn't continue to hinder our preparations for a new season.
He's spot on. Leaving business until late on isn't as effective as it once was anyway. It's worth paying a little more, within reason, to get a full pre season with pretty much the whole squad.
