Continuing the Foxestalk Kane comments theme:

He's a fantastic goalscorer unfortunately, but he's not a good player. Forget how many times Facecloth has pointed it out, but watch his decision making, namely when to take a shot and when to pass. If he were in blue the match threads on here would be going ballistic at him 90% of the time (tbf, they were when he was here actually). Our title-winning season stands out - we played Palace away, Vardy in a difficult position, head up and found Mahrez for another 1-0 win. Spurs playing the same weekend, Kane in the same position, head down, driven wide. That sort of thing was why they were always 5 or so points back even before the collapse, and he's not improved it since.

I just don't know where to start.

Why do their fans hate us so much? I mean some even saying they'd rather play for Liverpool than us. Is it because some nob Spurs fan claiming we're a bigger pull than them (ridiculous) and they're just feeling spiteful because of that comment and over-reacting? I was always under the impression most United fans preferred us over the other London clubs.

Probably London based united fans.

For a tiny championship team that accomplished a great incredible thing I'm always amazed at the pure bitterness and bile built up in their fan base

Agree. You would think they’d be quite happy go lucky, although I’ve lived in the midlands and it’s quite grim so maybe that’s got a lot to do with it :D.

Clearly winning things bigger than the league cup doesn't cure all ills ...

The misery of being a fan of a successful football team, oy vey.

Didn’t get past the 1st page, but you can tell who the newer fans are. They have no knowledge of our history and what we’ve done for the game, we’re a team of firsts. We created what Pool considered their style of play (push and run). First to win a domestic league cup double, which at the time was considered impossible (no subs, tiny squad). First (and so far only) club to win the FA cup as a non-league team. Fist English team to win a European trophy.

We are a big club with a glorious history, are we as big as UTD, Pool and Arse, no. But we are on par with City and the Chavs regardless of what they have achieved the last few years.

Also the first with a 99,999 pounds transfer, the first 125,000 transfer and the first 200,000 pounds transfer.
