He looks quite good. Decent first touch and pace, willing to take on (and beat) opponents, good movement to create space.

Not being a huge success at PSG isn't the mark of failure. The egos and turn over of players has left a few decent players out in the cold.

Much like vdv, snijder and robben’s time at Madrid and probably many others, all still went on to prove their class

Indeed. And in a few years we'll have some City players to add to this category. The club keeps buying, the players need to find somewhere new to go.

I don't know about his lifestyle and general attitude as this can often destroy a talented player's career, especially some very talented boys from Brazil but if Poch can get him settled and playing this is the type we must be in the market for.

If he was in the first team at PSG and tearing it up every week we wouldn't be in the market. We have to shop smart for players like this and young potential.

I’m dubious but if he’s an upgrade on Sissoko/GKN then ultimately he strengthens the squad and gives us better options

Can't profess to have seen much of him at all, although he must have been so highly rated for a reason. Even if it hadn't worked then maybe Poch can get him firing again.

That said, from his 'highlight' video on YouTube which I would imagine is highly edited. Even then he looks like an expensive Townsend. Maybe it's a confidence thing but it's about 6 minutes of getting the ball, pass 10 yards backwards or having shots saved. Can't say it gets the pulse racing.

If we were to get him, it would make total sense as a loan until the end of the season and if we see something, he has a year left and will be cheaper, whilst also getting a preview of if he's up for it. He'll have 0 sell on value if he flopped with us.

For those interested, Tim Vickery was on Talksport when he was linked with Man U and described him as a 'straight-line runner'. The sort that doesn't have too much tricker about him but is super fast.

I immediately thought Walcott.

If he has pace then thats what we need. Would be a no brainer if we can get loan to work

What was Hercules emoji about? Bullseye?
Was just as baffled. Thought it might be looking through the keyhole, as in keep an eye on this, but who knows. I can’t say I’m really that excited by the prospect of Moura. As a loan with option, cool, but he’s not as good as he could have been. Shame they don’t want shot of Draxler as I would take him in a flash. But considering Lucas would be our new winger/am upgrade if we bought him out right I don’t know if I would be that happy about his purchase. Would so much rather we tried for Fekir first, although I understand he would cost a lot and I’m sure Lucas would be available on th cheap.

I wonder if Lucas is the one that goes straight in to the first team 'Big time' as JJ put it?
Fairly certain that the player JJ was referring to had not been mentioned in the press at the time and I’m fairly certain that our link to Moura had (at the time of JJs post). Could be wrong but I would be surprised if this is who he was referring to.
