I think they are in there for home grown reasons. You can only have a limited number of non HG players.

Lamela would not need to be dropped...he is not currently on the CL roster...
I think GKN was on the roster though, so we have room for one (Lamela) and would have to drop someone if we add a 2nd player.

If happens I reckon Foyth. No chance he'd start a CL knockout game and with Toby and Wanyama back we won't need him even on bench. Davies would start at CB ahead of him too. Think GK they'd wanna be safe than sorry in case some nightmare scenario occurs.

Reason he's been there though has been lack of options at RM and CM for most of the season so far. If Moura comes in and now Wanyama is back his game time could be limited.
It's essentially a battle between Winks, Dembele and Sissoko for one CM spot then.
