Oh yeah, it's still possible it can still go tits up from here. Highly unlikely but possible.

I seem to remember Levy putting a clause in with PSG during the Aurier deal, ensuring that nobody could come in and hijack it. That might have been due to all the legal processes involved with that deal, though. I'd have thought Levy would put shit like that in place for every deal now, if I were him I'd have been scarred for life

TBH people comain about every deal, even the good ones.

Us: We need a pacy forward with a proven track record of scoring at the highest levels!

Also us: OMG No not that one!!!
People like to complain about everything. Its tedious in the extreme.
You know we could sign Lionel Messi and at least a dozen people would say something along the lines of "I would've preferred a player who has proven themselves in England tbh, does he even speak English? Why didn't we sign him when he was 13?"

I will be the devils advocate.

Is he good enough for our 1st team?

If not, should we put his money elsewhere e.g. Sessegnon.

I personally like (not love) this signing for the money, but just throwing questions out there that people may have.
But you wouldn't use Sessegnon and Moura in the exact same position. You COULD maybe use Moura as a left wing forward, and if so it would be instead of Sessegnon, but they could also feature in the same starting line up, Sessegnon to the left, Moura to the right. It's the right side of our attacking line up that's been lacking (Lamela out, Sissoko incapable), not the left side (Son rocking it).

Can people stop with these dreadful Lionel Messi based straw man arguments!

Pretty sure these “people” wouldn’t say that about signing one of the best players of all time - quite different to having a debate about a PSG sub that hasn’t fulfilled his early promise!

Yeah mate, i was just throwing up shit about why people are against the Lucas signing.

I personally am not a massive fan of what i have seen of Lucas but will massively support him.

Onions and all that.

I believe I read that Chelsea did try and make a late move too

Can we have them both please?

It's about the right perspective, IMO. He isn't the next coming of Harry Kane, but to not feel any excitement and even be indifferent, I just don't get it. This is a January signing with experience from the highest level for club and country, and attacking player who is cheap and not old. Every fan, IMO, should be a tiny bit happy about this.

So why didn't we sign him at 13 and why doesn't he speak english? ;)

My belief is that is a spurs forum. We are all spurs fans (hopefully).

So all opinions are welcome.

What would the world be like if we all had the same opinion?

He’s a sub because PSG bought Neymar and Mbappe for £360m combined. Son has been brilliant for us this season - he’d be a sub at PSG. No point just saying he’s a sub without looking at the context.

Mate i am stoked with the Lucas signing.

I have 1 game on my old school playstation which is a fantasy manager game. The best 3 young players in the game are Lloris, Eriksen and Lucas. We look we have all 3.

For me, really, all credit to club and directors if this deal comes into fruition. We needed reinforcements in January, and Moura is from the best possible realistic level.
