I just read up about him TSH. I naturally assumed that, at the very least, he had a Welsh grandparent on his fathers side but his welsh ancestry goes even further back so wouldn’t qualify for wales. English parents.

So he's still a traitorous swine. But an English traitorous swine.

I said Scotland by 3. But the weekend predictions trophy goes to Arnie for his 4 point England win prediction. Well played sir.

That definitely isn't the worst French side you'll ever see and Ireland dominated the game except for a five minute spell at the end.

It’s a ragtag French side. It’s terrible. Ireland were fairly comfortable but made serious hard work of it in the end. Certainly not a performance of grand slam winners elect...

Ireland are a good side and to be respected for sure, but England shouldn’t fear anyone at Twickenham. Home advantage is key in this fixture as it stands, yet I’m surprised at how many people are bordering on writing England off for this one.

Only TSH and Arnold are as the defence mechanism. England were, and continue to be, favourites. Like you say, home fixture is key.

Not a defence mechanism at all.

Ireland have a very strong squad and haven't got the injury issues of other teams.

Plus Ireland beat England last year and have beaten New Zealand r gently. Plus Leinster, who make up a lot of their team, have been excellent this year.

Home advantage does make a big difference certainly but I'd still make Ireland favourites.

Excuuuuse me. I have made no prediction about the Ireland game or the 6N winner.

Since you mention it, though ... I'll wait til after Ireland / Wales!

You’re the 2 time reigning champs (1 being grand slam) at the end of the day and playing your hardest game at home (your 2 hardest in fact)

That’s why the bookies still have you as favs. I’ll let you off though as it’s close and I’d be doing the same thing but not if we had won the last 2 6N. I’d be a right ***+ if we won the last 2.

I should’ve known you’re too much of a slippery eel to commit either way. Sometimes, Arnold, it’s not what you say but what you don’t say. ;)

Us English really can't win can we?

If we crow about winning we're arrogant. If we suggest another team is better it's 'a defence mechanism'

I should point out my vendetta against Leigh Borepenny has been strongly worsened this week.

My fantasy rugby team is 179th in the country (pretty good I thought) but I'd have been in the top 100 if that lazy arse had played.

He's dead to me.
