We need to give him more time.
He reminds me a lot of Kyle Walker (just not as quick) before Poch arrived.
He reminds me of Pascal Chimbonda. (A bit quicker).

Not sure everyone is writing him off tbh, just noting that he hasn't performed that well, calling a spade a spade (not directly saying sell him), which is fair analysis, he has looked shaky, doesn't necessarily mean everyone wants him sold, he must up his game, and soon excuses like he doesn't speak English (which is untrue), won't cut it. Every Spurs supporter wants him to succeed and live up to his potential, I am hopeful Poch will work his magic again, he has potential, his shown flashes.so you’ve come to that conclusion after seeing him play what about 10x for us really? (Smacks head on table)
This is a guy who was tearing it up for PSG in the Champions League and domestically, is a proven international. He has pace, power, good positioning, decent passing, heading. Yes he dives in a bit and need to learn how to take a throw-in but all the ingredients are there. He can’t speak English so is still learning that and it’s a new league and a new team he’s going to take a season or so to get up to speed. Also for a RB, 25 is still fairly young. I’m certain he will keep improving under Poch.
You guys writing him offff wayyy too soon.
First season syndrome hopefully and with a bit of time and coaching am sure he will come on. The foul throws were an absolute joke though that is the most basic thing to get right.
Happy to see him given time and thought he was a great signing when he joined but that doesn't mean he can't be criticised.
He is an international and cost a lot of money. Not that these automatically make him a great player from the get go, and he has put in some good performances.
That said, it's not that he's been a bit rubbish at times. When he's bad, he's really BAD. Not sure if he's simply trying too hard, but right now Trippier is the safer option and Aurier gets into countless dangerous positions to cross but is absolutely useless 90% of the time. That doesn't come from being in a new country/league etc. For 20m+ I'd expect someone to cross the ball properly when unchallenged. At least to a higher degree than he does currently.
Hopefully Poch can sort his rashness out and we can get the RB that destroyed arsenal for PSG.
In all fairness City just spent £50m on a full back who couldn't cross to a team mate if they were the only two players on the pitch.
I admit I'd be disappointed in Aurier if his brain farted like Walker's did to gift Wigan their goal last week.In all fairness City just spent £50m on a full back who couldn't cross to a team mate if they were the only two players on the pitch.

Call me old fashioned but if my right back messes up a few throws fails to deliver some good crosses and misses a scoring chance but then puts in a match saving tackle on their striker on our six yard line I'm satisfied.

I'm not making a case I'm refuting other peoples case, I didn't bring Walker up.Aurier's brain fart could have virtually knocked us out of the Champions League already, so pointing out individual instances to support your case doesn't really stand up.
You're not sure...........
...
But to be fair, that wasn't everyone.
To be fair, he has 5 assists in the PL do far this season which isn't bad. More than a lot of creative midfielders. Sure Walker was up at the top for assists last season too.
For the top scoring team in the league by some distance. He has the 6 assists in 40 appearances this season playing for man city running away with the title. Trippier has 6 assists in 27 appearances, playing for us.
If he had positional sense he wouldn’t need to make so many rash tackles.
