A better way to structure it would be £30m upfront, potentially rising to £50m or so, mostly dependant on how many appearances he makes for us and how many international games he plays. We could add a profit percentage sell on to the initial price too.

I don’t think we will buy another “starting quality” AM/winger unless we sell one. 6 players for 3 positions is too many when all of them wants to start. Eriksen and Dele are almost certain to start when they can and that leaves one spot left to Son, Lamela and Lucas. In some games we could rest Eriksen or Dele, but they will play in most games. There is no way someone like Malcom would come unless we sell one of them we already have.

Similar to the Martial deal to United, a lot of back end add-ons.

I still think this depends on what Poch sees as his tactical needs are. I could see Poch favoring a 4-1-4-1 system and you need a lot of AM/CM/ST hybrids like City have to make it work. The fact that we are heavily linked with DMs and AMs makes me think that is his goal formation. He's toyed with it on a few occassions last year and this year but never stuck with it due to what I guess are depth concerns.

I think he could be be thinking about going with that formation, especially in planning for life post-Dembele. So hard to replace the Moose.

Hope we don't sign Andre Gomes. Perpetually linked in the press - usually a good sign that we won't.

Former Chelsea assistant manager Ray Wilkins has just said on SkySportsNews that Tottenham Hotspur are “another club Robert Lewandowski could be looking at.”

That's the funniest fake link to a player I've heard this year. Who is Ray Wilkins and how did he fool Sky into putting a microphone in front him?

If he goes I'd like us to have a go at De Ligt from Ajax.
De Jong from Ajax for me. He's a perfect alternative to and eventual replacement for Moose. If we lose Toby, Dier can just drop back to CB whenever needed. It would also create more playing time for Foyth who from what I've seen so far absolutely deserves it.

Hercules did talk about an exciting player from Germany...

Tottenham Hotspur ready bid for German megastar Marco Reus as he stalls on new deal at Borussia Dortmund

Spurs are tracking Borussia Dortmund forward Marco Reus with the Germany international stalling over a new deal.

Reus, 28, will have just a year left on his contract at the end of the season. But he is waiting to find out the extent of his club’s ambition in the transfer market before he commits himself to fresh terms.

Liverpool are also admirers of Reus who scored Borussia Dortmund's opener in last night's 1-1 draw at home to Augsburg.

Lovely player, but I could not see Levy giving him the sort of contract he'd want, at 28, and with his injury record.
