A good 3 points. Let’s face it we didn’t play well today at all. Hard to pick a man of the match to be honest. On another day Stoke may have got a draw, they certainly had the opportunities but made poor choices. But we did get the win and that is why we are where we are in the league. Despite a poor performance we still have a good shot at 2nd. That would be brilliant season and show much improvement given it’s a tougher league this season than the last two.

Actually thought the ref was poor. He let them get away with so many mandatory bookings, shirt pulls / holding / professional fouls to stop attacks, that they were just able to keep fouling us. Joe Allen got away with numerous bookable offences.

Because he didn’t touch it.free kick Cross came in from Eriksen and Kane tried to head it. Missed it but so did the keeper so Eriksen gets a goal?

Two bad things makes 2 nd a lot harder now and Chitty will now come to us desperately seeking a win after two dismal performances and probably out of CL Tuesday night.
