I saw some moron say "How come they can change a decision like this but they can't change penalty/offside decisions? It's a disgrace!"

I honestly don't know where to start with this ridiculousness but I often wonder "how much do people really know about the game??"

What's impressive for me is how much distress we seem to be causing to the Liverpool fanbase. Everything my United supporting buddies said about them is coming to the fore here.

Wonder if all those people who had a bet on Kane to score anytime can now collect winnings?

The lurker neg repping army on this site is getting a bit crazy. I'm firmly in the camp of giving Harry the goal and think the whole thing is pretty funny but can definitely appreciate the view that it is a bit smalltime. Negging perfectly reasonable posts of a different opinion is getting into RAWK territory where you have to support everything your team does no matter what.

I agree. No wonder we become such a laughing stock. Will Kane now relinquish the goals that he scored that went off a defenders foot or goal keepers hands and now describe them as own goals? I think not, even when his (and the panel's) logic does dictate that they should. Pathetic and desperate comes to mind. He should have more confidence in his ability to maintain the golden boot without resorting to this

That’s not really the rules of football mate though is it? Deflects off an attacker, it’s the person it deflected off’s goal. Deflects off a defender, it’s the attacker’s goal unless it was clearly off target.

Orrr the ratings are there for a reason. You disagree with something, you hit disagree. You think something is a pretty damn ridiculous and over the top opinion to hold, you hit wtf. They’re only ratings. They’re there to be used.

Harry got a touch on it, its his goal. I don't know what people find so hard to get their tiny little heads around? Unless people are calling our best player an out and out lier then stfu and support our club and players instead of jumping on the media have it against us bandwagon.
As if we haven't got it shitty enough with everyone else having a a dig at us on a daily basis, our own so called fans also want to rip the shit out of us too?! Its staggering really.
Im not embarrassed at all that he claimed it and the club asked for it to be awarded to him, In fact I think its bloody brilliant that the dippers/gooners and every other bitter little wanker are losing their shit over it.
The state of some of our fans lately. It was only the other day that someone on here actually asked in so many words why it would be a disaster if the dippers won the Champions League. If this is the kind of question that NEEDS to be answered then no wonder we have the responses of some on this Kane issue.

I mean who the fuck really cares??? We won 2-1, Kane getting to goal or not doesn't change the scoreline, it was still 2-1, we still won.

People who are embarrassed, why are you fucking embarrassed? You didn't appeal the goal, the goal wasn't taken off you, nothing in your life has changed. If anything it's funny and a testament to how driven Harry really is. A lot of fans, Spurs or not need to really grow the fuck up.

In conclusion, so fucking what?

Yep. Nonsensical that anyone thought that was seriously analogous.

I didn't expect the appeal but this is one of those roll your eyes, cringe and say ffs Spurs but quickly move on with it, I've seen comments calling us small time and calling Kane a liar all because he claimed a goal which was rightly his, it's quite frankly laughable.

What It really comes down to is people being embarrassed because they can't take the ribbing on social media and a bit of banter by their mates so they feel obliged to have a go at Kane making them look small... oh noes we can't have people taking the piss out of us can we, how am I going to defend this I mean it's not as if we have arguably the best striker in the world on our books who is breaking records left right and centre, a stadium which will be amongst the world's best, a bright and progressive future etc...but nope people are actually ashamed of the club and Kane for appealing a goal, yeah lets ignore all the good work they've put in in the past few years - fuck me sideways.

At the end of the day people are going to look for any excuse to throw shade at our club or players and do their best to point and laugh and call us sad/small time because these days people don't get to do that too often, hence when something like this happens people will always over exaggerate and find an excuse to hate, why do some our fans need to join in with that shit, you're just as bad as them!

Just man the fuck up and look at the bigger picture, the fact that you're compelled to feel embarrassed at something so fucking trivial in the midst of a 6 match winning streak where we've more or less booked CL qualification for the 3rd year running says more about you than anything else.

I get that these are all in jest but several clubs regurgitating the same "joke" is already tiresome, and it shows no sign of abating any time soon.
It'll stop when Liverpool fans stop retweeting them giving them more publicity than they've ever had. Considering Liverpool fans are still going on about the Lamela decision and Kane's penalties we should be clear by about the year 2075.

One of my Liverpool-supporting mates was blabbing on at me about this yesterday.

They still keep crying about Dele too gah, Liverpool fans do like a moan and hold a grudge don't they...

I think they're jealous that we have Kane tbh (although I'm jealous they have Salah and would love him bombing up our right wing, imagine how many goals we'd get... :joyful:).

I have been stuck in an airport for the last 3 hours and I came across this thread .
I don't know what to think of some SPURS FANS getting upset over a goal WE SCORED, TO WIN a game!
The time has literally flown past and I've had strange looks from passer-by with me laughing and nearly crying at the same time!
Get a grip, enjoy what we have with BOTH CE and HK and finally COYS

The daughter line was a bit off for my liking...think before you speak Harry.

Other than that, nothing to see here.
