The fact that we (Levy) may have made it.What's the difference between a £48m bid and a stunning £48m bid?
How much have we spent so far?
Sorry Harry

but we think you aught to go''
Toby has been brilliant but we have done fine without him for most of the season. I just wonder if this is the best use of funds. Are we buying him to replace Jan in the near future? How about Foyth? If this is true, Toby is definitely history at Spurs. I still hope Toby stays because his partnership with Jan is special, but it seems more and more unlikely. If he has to go, let's hope he has a great WC and Barca and Madrid outbid each other for his signature. I really don't want to see any more stars sold to rival PL clubs.
Toby will be hard to replace, but this De Ligt kid looks very promising indeed. 48m for an 18-year-old defender sounds ridiculous, but he looks great and we need to replace before we sell.
We spent 40 million on Sanchez so why wouldn't we up the game if we think he is worth it.Unless we are close to an agreement to selling some of our players I can’t see this......even Levy would be stunned reading the headline.....can’t see him or Poch agreeing to this fee.
His injury was a blessing in disguise in this respect. We saw that there is life after Toby. Foyth is still a little off yet. I'd say second half of next season or maybe even the one after.Toby has been brilliant but we have done fine without him for most of the season. I just wonder if this is the best use of funds. Are we buying him to replace Jan in the near future? How about Foyth?
