Really? Lucas is quite a good shifty playmaker and we saw it in most of his cameos. Especially a few outside of the boot throughballs.
I haven't really watched that much of Pulisic but i have seen some matches (used to live with a friend that followed the bundesliga) and he looks like a great prospect. As another one mentioned i see him more as a playmaker with pace and trickery rather than a pacey winger with playmaking abilities. Seems like he has good vision and a great footballing iq as well. This is only my limited opinion though and to be fair i haven't seen much of Moura either - only the few times he has played for us. Must be my subconscious mind that find him less attractive as a player because of his baldness.

Pulisic signed as a youth player in February 2015 and Klopp left in October 2015 and didn't get into the first team squad until after he left. Wouldn't think that short period of what i would imagine was little contact between the two if any would have any bearing on a transfer destination now.

Lucas hasen't played much in that position in his career though. Majority of his apps is at AMR/RW. He's played 6249 more minuits at AMR than in CAM.

if we are/were prepared to go to potentially 65/70m for martial, i don't doubt we'll pay what was/is needed.
am with tiger on this one, i took it to just mean it's a shitload of cash for the deal, not that we're not still in the game. gamechangers unfortunately aren't cheap.

Exactly. I’d rather see us spend the money on 1 good player than buy another Sissoko or another random winger from the French league.

Their stance hasn't changed, they still want a fortune for him, told 70mil+ Euro's. Obviously it will probs come down a bit with negotiation, but too rich for us. I was told a while back we had backed off due to fee. Heard nothing to the contrary since.
