Only other club I can see him joining now is PSG, if Madrid move for either Mbappe or Neymar. Hopefully we can get this done eventually.
Reckon the Chavs could be a real issue with this one if United decide to sell to another PL team. Particularly if RM go after Hazard and hand them a bunch of cash to play around with (now that their Ruski sugar daddsky can’t bail them out every summer). Woodward might see Chavs as less of a title rival. And then there’s Maureen’s interest in Willian.

No one has ever said he isn't interested, completely opposite in fact. Its ManU that aren't interested.

Assuming that is correct what must the Man United Board and Chairman be thinking ? They don't want to sell him to Spurs as they fear what he could become at Spurs yet their own Manager doesn't play him and doesn't want him. If I were them I would be concerned with how Maureen handles players and his opinion of players. Over recent years he has dropped several real clangers with his judgement of players.

So Man U don’t want to sell to us, but let us show him round the training ground? Not sure how that work or has we done that on the sly. In which case would be very stupid on our part and United would be well within their rights to report us.

I’d guess that if this happened, Man U probably didn’t know.

Also, if it did happen, he’s done well not to be noticed by our thousands of onsite staff.

Pretty sure we can’t do that without a player’s club giving permission.

It means either Man U gave permission - so they are or were willing to sell and it’s all about the price.

Or we’ve totally tapped up Martial and are in danger of getting a fine and being shown to be unscrupulous in the way we operate.

Pretty sure someone has already said that if United are ready to sell he is entitled to investigate possible options and they can't stop him speaking to anyone.

If we’ve shown him round the training ground and the stadium then we must be pretty confident you’d think.

Anyone else feel we might try for Martial 1 last time and if it doesn't happen we will go for Malcolm?

I don't think it works like that. The likes of Hazard and Rabiot have been to our grounds but they still didn't sign for us.

I cannot see this happening. I also can't believe he's been to the stadium. Surely he Would have been spotted by the thousands of staff they have working there. Would have been all over social media.

What did he do, pull up outside in a tinted car have a quick look and drive off?

Well maybe he was dressed in a hi-vis vest and hard hat. Nobody noticed it was him.

If you're gonna doubt the Itks here then this site isn't for you.

Not really .I just don't see the point of coming to this site if you're gonna argue with info posted by 2-3 ITks.Rather use Twitter or fb then.
More like it’ll get you banned pretty sharpish, but the sentiment is the same.

Yeah but you're original post was like you were "telling him off", or advising a poster who has been posting for over 10 years that maybe this site isn't for him. If you think he broke site rules there is a report function.

I'm pretty sure it's standard procedure when trying to woo a player to show them the training ground and stadium and other assets. Just like any company would when headhunting an employee from another business.

I'm also sure United know about it. It probably doesn't change anything on their end. They can still refuse to sell to us. Or, they are actually open to selling to us eventually even if it's their last choice. At the end of the day money talks. They have Rashford and Sanchez in his position. Martial is surplus to requirements. The player clearly wants to leave. We clearly are seemingly ready to front up the cash. Even United can't afford to turn their nose up at say £60 million for a surplus player. They also want Alderweireld. There's too many things in our favour for this not to happen in my opinion.

I suppose the only danger is we get gazumped by Chelsea because I can't see him leaving the PL.

If he's been here for the last 10 yrs he must have known many players have visited our training ground which wasn't report by the media.A player visiting a stadium in secrecy isn't that big of a deal as some are thinking.
