I do think 33 year old over 22 year old Martial is a weird move. Martial and Dybala would have been an awesome duo to watch together and for the future.

Yep, agree. Though I guess it cements them as a world brand/household name in one hit. As Italian football has been declining overall will firmly put some of the spotlight there?

It also gives them a few years with a powerhouse player to take them to the next level in the UCL (in particular) before the lynchpins of their side all leave and their dominance potentially ends. Buffon already gone but Chiellini, Marchisio and Barzagli are all 32 and over. They've won the league so many times now but keep coming up short in Europe. I guess they feel Ronaldo is the missing piece of the puzzle.

New Goat ITK makes me want to believe but I'm having a hard time doing that. Juve getting Ronaldo will surely help our cause though...

We already had ITK that he had been shown around the grounds, this isn't exactly breaking news.

He was in United training today anyways so don't think anyone should get too excited.
Exactly the same as Grealish then, what's your point? ...

The point is there isn't a deal imminent if players are in training today with their team. So people shouldn't get too excited as if something is about to happen.

I expect Grealish to linger on for a little while longer too. Just as ITK has suggested it might.
That’s nonsense, players will train with their team right up to the transfer is agreed. He could sign tomorrow. I’m not saying he will but him training with Manu today tells us nothing at all about a transfer to anyone other than it hasn’t happened yet.

If ManU and Tottenham are at the point of working on paperwork why would either club risk him being injured in training?

I doubt Martial would be posting videos on his instagram story directly from ManU's official page of him in training today if this was close either.
Someone should tell Grealish this then.

The fucking experts on here that are so sure about everything.

I may still be wrapped in a veil of England related negativity, but I just can't see this happening. I would love to be proven wrong, but we don't sign big players from big clubs that don't want to sell those players.

The ITK that he's been to the ground doesn't say when this happened, but my suspicion is this was a few weeks back at least as it's gone quiet recently. I'm not distrusting the info either but with 3000 odd people a day working on site, surely someone would have recognised him, unless he just saw a virtual tour or something like that.

Only other club I can see him joining now is PSG, if Madrid move for either Mbappe or Neymar. Hopefully we can get this done eventually.
