At least the “building up” itk was correct going from that lobotomy midget to Norwegian tree bloke

Also shows how consistent our scouting has been his window, really know what we’re looking for
The player to possibly play at the base of a three, I make you right there mate, well spotted!

I hope you are right (if you think so) that we do not buy him.

I'll wait and see if he ends up 'holding the shirt up' before totally jumping with a judgement.

I'd have him for 10-15 but he's just potential right now; could easily be a 50 mil player.
However this is typical of our scouting, buying players for position rather than roles. An great example was us thinking that Sissoko would offer the same thing that Mane would...
I'd still say the players we have been linked with seem to have a view to a certain roll in this team. No idea on which player was which option, I'll leave that up to all the experts.

Size is the standout thing, passing seems alright for DM, dribbling decent. Looks so one footed though.

Guess the kid has potential and some good talent spotter clubs are looking at him but can't argue it'd be underwhelming. Think I'd prefer Barrios or Lobotka.

Yeah I know obviously there’s been a lot of scouting going on, I just found it funny he’s literally almost a foot taller then our last CM target. I’d take either right now anyway.

Getting winners from the levy out gang now though so I guess I’m one of them now

He’s 20 so we wouldn’t need to name him in either PL OR CL squads. Therefore no barring on foreign numbers etc

Would have had to have been with us for a few years. That's why we left foyth out when lamela came back.

I liked the link to the Slovakian more if I am honest, but he doesn't seem to 'fit' the physical mould perhaps we are all used to when we think of the sorts of players Poch has valued.

At this stage of the window, I dunno what to think anymore.

It's fast becoming a numbers game - both in player count and £££'s

In fairness, if signing Grealish and Berge for relatively cheap fees allows us to spend heavier on Martial or another high profile forward then I think most of us would be happy with that.

I love your optimism. It's really brilliant. I think we'll buy them because they're cheap, without any alterior motive.
Sometimes i wonder why we just don't go straight to d on our list and sign them early, rather than play all these games. Surely they'll be cheap and can get a full preseason in.

Norwegian tv were apparently reporting this story earlier in the day (technically yesterday) judging by twitter

Sad that we cant even get this kid in early to have at least a look at him in pre season if he can do a job now...

He replaced N’Didi at Genk when he left for Leicester.

Consensous is he’s been more than a capable replacement. Had he not got a hamstring injury last year he’d already not be at Genk.

Really highly rated, very good defensively and an absolute unit

Heard on tv earlier, more of the pundits wanting gim to sign for spurs as they see poch as an ideal manager getting the best out of arguably the best young midfielder from our contry ever

Ever? Sounds good, you had some nice players over the years.
