They also have no historical perspective.Let's face it, the Arsenal fans can't stand that we are real competition now. That the days of us spending years in mid table are gone. They'll do anything to delude themslves we aren't, but it speaks volumes that they now have to resort to things like starting petitions for points deductions to get at us.
Until we became shit in the '90s the two clubs had been relatively equal in terms of success. They had won more leagues than us but we were ahead in cups and winning in Europe (and have still won more european trophies!). With us becoming their equal the historical norm has been re-established, but their young and/or fair-weather fans can't handle it.
