If Aurier is injured then we need to rest Trippier and give KWP a chance. Rest Lamela aswell and possibly Dembele.

Moura and Son off the bench. Not many players better than these two at stretching defences, but I don't think they'll be able to do that in the first half. Huddersfield will sit deep and defend for their lives. We need creativity from the off.

If he's not fit, Trips in for Aurier.

Hopefully Kane is suitably rested; if not, I wouldn't mind Son starting in his place.

My only concern with the earned places is that Barca is a bigger game and I'd absolutely want them to start that.

True, but at the same time, we absolutely have to win away at Huddersfield.

If we win, we stay within touching distance of the top 3. If we lose, or draw, then Liverpool, Chelsea and City already start to get away.

We can't take any game as a given with our current run of form. We've only kept one clean sheet all season, and that one was a minor miracle.

With the squad coming back to full fitness and having all players available it is a case of putting in combinations and players on form.

Easy to suggest that certain players arent doing enough but without them we miss them massively as they are key to the way we play (ie eriksen).

A real conumdrum which is much easier to do as a Fantasy Footy level or putting a Fifa team out as you would probably go with Lamela, Lucas and Eriksen behind Kane but that would leave Dele and Son out. Pop Dele in and you are suggesting leaving either Lucas or Lamela who are the ones scoring the goals so far.

Who'd be Poch eh

Considering our midfield has been fairly woeful recently, I'd drop Eriksen in there and get him to try and get us some go-forward.

My understanding is that Huddersfield has only scored three goals this year and all were from set pieces. I'd err towards the less foul prone defenders. For that reason alone, i'd bench Dembele and would have benched Aurier.

In which case I'd bench Sanchez as well. He really does seem to be suffering from a WC hangover, infinitely more nervous and error-prone than last season.
