Then you have no clue. Absolutely no clue.

Trippier is a far superior footballer - I.e with a ball at his feet.

Walker has pace to burn which he will lose very soon.

Walker was the worse player on the pitch tonight - not even a debate mate.

I DIDNT FUCKING WISH FOR IT. READ

No need for theatrics dear sir. A turn of phrase, if you will.

It's not using rose tinted glasses to see that spurs are doing relatively well. All things considered. There s a lot of room for improvement performance wise, but I don't think it's too far off.

Agree - we need tweaking - most teams do

Well no need for putting words in my mouth. You can’t have an argument with me over something I haven’t even said.

Now I just want us in the New Stadium and hopefully some money is made available for new players. We need competition for the likes of Harry Kane and others. Without that competition players will 100% stagnate! We are all witnessing it with Kane at the moment ?

Man I miss Wanyama of 2016/17.

When you watch Fernandinho nipping in to clear danger, getting City on the front foot and bring snide when needed......well Wanyama was doing all that for us.

The midfield is now in a state of vacuum where we lack creativity and power.

The thing is how can it not be there? We are being told that transfer fund is ring fenced and is totally separate from the stadium budget - or are we also fed lies. I can only go on the basis of what we are told.

Not heard that line for a long time but I don’t see how it can’t be Snd imo it clearly is

Let me guess. It will be our year next year as well, right?

You’re deluded mate. You’re only kidding yourself.

I for one was proud of the team tonight. After the first 10 minutes I thought we might fold, but we ended up in touching distance of a draw and carried the right to them. Once Eriksen and Alli are fully fit, and with Winks looking very good, we can still have s great season. And Sissoko is playing himself into a regular starting spot. Who would have thought that.

Eriksen was the wrong sub at the end, I think Son would have been better Walker was there for the taking 2nd half.

Decent performance overall though, play like that for rest of season and we'll get top 4.

Walker is far from perfect, but they are leagues apart. Literally.
Im not disagreeing. The point I'm making is everyone picks holes in their own players when often not picking up the weaknesses of the opposition players.

Walker was alright today, but constantly misplaced passes going forward, gave a few cheap freekicks, and panicked with a back pass that on another day could of been our equalizer. Had a decent game though.

For me our fullbacks are much better than people realize, not because they are amazing, but because all fullbacks bar a very few elite core are pretty hot and cold these days. With Walker and Rose on form we had the best fullbacks in the league, of course Tripps and Davies look pretty poor in comparison.

With all our players though the question we should ask is can we get someone better in? I think we'd struggle. Many people saw Aurier as the answer when he came in, he clearly wasn't.

But I just can't accept that our beloved Kane has become a slightly less shit Soldado ffs
He'll get goals in and around the box with the right players, on the right sort of form, around him.

But the thrilling, swashbuckling Kane we're used to, charging at goal with defenders bouncing off him, scoring scorchers and racking up tallies, is gone imo.

He's a victim of his own fierce drive and ambition.

Didn't listen to his body and pushed it to hard.

Annoying too because he's an intelligent lad and deep down knows better; but he just hasn't been able to finesse that dogged desire that elevated him to the heights he's reached and sit on it when he's needed to, and be patient.

A new striker to provide decent competition for him is a top priority for 2019/20.

The least it will do is force him to really sharpen the weapons he still retains and maximise what he still has.

Still lethal in front of goal when his sights are aligned.

“On another day”

Tottenham fans’ favourite phrase of all time.

Right up there with “watch us next season”

We have had a 0 net spend for pretty much a long as I remember whilst every other club has consistently spent fortunes - we are also known to pay our players considerably less than our competitors. I have accepted this over many years as I always thought we were saving all the TV and CL money to invest in the stadium. As it turns out...there's still no money to spend and like it or not football is about money.

You will not win a single thing with Trippier and Davies as your fullbacks. Surely that must be crystal clear to everyone.
