The replays of the nutmeg before the penalties have made me so angry. What an utter tit. You’re Kieran Trippier mate not Marcelo.

Redknapp would've raped him for that, be interesting how Poch a former defender himself handles his buffoonery of recent weeks

He really does stretch our central defenders when playing in a back 4. He is de-stabilizing them all. Add Davies into the mix and it aint pretty.

He makes me nervous whenever he's attacked.

Sick of his crap 1v1 defending. Sterling passed him like he wasn't even there last night.

If you'd seen a Sunday league player make a mistake like he did for the header v Sterling you'd be irritated but a professional footballer earning thousands of pounds a week is unacceptable.

Unfortunately he's going to play again v Wolves on Saturday as Aurier will play tomorrow.

God how I miss peak Walker and Rose from 16/17.

They knew our full backs are crap. They knew that Trippiers and Davies 1v1 defending is dog.

Teams are going to start targeting these areas and we are really going to struggle to keep clean sheets and win games.

Be tempted to start him against PSV because in league we’ve got Palace, chelsea and arsenal next and Aurier has to start all of those games. Zaha, Hazard and Auba against Trippier will be carnage.

Haha holy shit. If he plays one of those games...

Luckily Poch looked fucking furious after that first penalty. If Rose were fit I don't think he would be getting minutes.

Issue is aurier hasn't played much and then we're going to be expecting him to go up against these guys. Serge needs to play against PSV and then stay there. More games the better

Our main fullbacks (only god knows why they are?) have become such liabilities it's actually incredible. Trippier has absolutely nothing to do in a top 4 club. As a rotation for playing the lower half is alright, but nothing more. God, he's awful. Davies is just slightly better, he just provides zero going forward and almost zero defensively.

I think its the other way around. Trippier still has his crosses and a decent ball controll. Davies had some good tackles (i think i saw 2 today) but i feel that almost everything he does in general turns to shit (now days).

Trips almost deserves a fine for the performance today though.. The nutmeg incident plus the shouting at Winks that resulted in our flank being left completly open..
Both of them were good last season, and i still think they can find their form but we can't afford to wait much longer for that to happen. They are both a reliability atm.

Aurier has to start against PSV and build momentum from there. I have never really understood Poch's need to rotate the fbs basically every single game. The mad scientist Pep doesn't even do that. Give Aurier some bloody time to build momentum and settle in.

Needs dropping.... awful!
The summer has gone to his head, he has the cheek to shout at team mates all game yet he is the one that fucks up each week and costs us goals.... what was he thinking today with that nutmeg? we were lucky today to get away with it but I want to see aurier and kwp play for next few games, he needs benching

I don't think people saw that - it led directly to the 2nd Pen.

If there is one thing Trippier is good at - its pointing fingers...

KWP should get some game time and start vs Palace while Aurier gets PSV snd the others.

Trippier should be dropped completely. The nerve of him to have a go at Foyth(who he hung out to dry twice) after he cost us 2 goals and almost a 3rd. Horrible attitude from him. That’s what infuriates me the most. He’s been horrible all season defensively but to have a go at a young player getting a PL debut and a start due to injuries who was hung out to dry twice because of YOUR fuck ups? Bye.
