Know the area well mate hope she doesn't live on the Gascoigne estate although I no longer live there now moved down the A13.

Nah they moved in the 70s to Shenfield when they had my mum. Dads side are wapping and Stepney and mums are barking and East Ham.

You can tell which side is West Ham..

Have to say, Ive just finished watching "Bobby". Very good. Enjoyed it.
The clips of greavsie were more mesmeric though.

It was good. Moore seemed quite a deep bloke.
Classy player and a classy man. Shame he never made that move to us when he wanted it. He would have suited us and vice versa.

Greaves was so good. Easily the greatest British striker of all time. In the clips you also realise just how good Bobby Charlton was too. He’s so underrated, which is crazy because he’s obviously held in high regard but he’s up there with the best of all time imo.
Moore the best every British defender and Charlton is probably the best ever British player.

Just saw the last 1/2 hour really enjoyed what I saw .
West Ham and the FA should hang their heads in shame the way they treated him after he finished playing

It also alluded to why england slipped after 1970, and why relative achievement has been so rare. Hopefully Southgate is the path to recovery that Bobby could have been. Its also a reminder how football was, and how far its changed, and why i loved going to a manky wet terrace to cheer on a team that ricky villa said was (expletive), that'd be spurs.
Good football documentaries seem few and far between, but thats definitely one of the best. Recommended if you missed it.
Now i'm off to remind myself how good that brazil team of 1970 was, and that game v england.
