ONE WEST HAM fan has started a GoFundMe page to help supply funds for Declan Rice’s new contract.

The talented young Hammer turned down an initial offer of £15,000-a-week at the start of the season — and is eyeing a figure closer to £40,000.

The fan said: "Declan Rice reportedly wants a new 40k a week contract. That’s about £2million a year.
"The board are dragging their heels.

"Let’s raise the funds to pay for the first year of the contract our future captain desires #coyi"

The campaign, which was created on Sunday evening, is yet to have anyone pledge any money.

100% agree - DL loves this sort of deal, as soon as he's on a long term deal and has a year or so to develop as a player with Poch, he could flip him for £££ for practically zero outlay.

I'd be happy with him as a signing as well - he has decent potential IMO.
