There's no way in a cm2 that was a good performance yesterday, had to be more disciplined in his work and positioning. Winks wasn't great at all either, but he was left alone for large spells when we were under the cosh.

All this nonsense about not moaning

He's a ridiculously technically limited footballer who is earning God knows how much per week. He must wake up every day and thank his God.

He earns £95,000 a week or £4.94m a year.

He’s had a few decent games and works quite hard but it’s kind of the level you’d expect of any half decent player let’s be honest. I’d keep him around as a sub till summer but he’s a definite player taking up a space in the squad who needs upgrading, let’s not kid ourselves.

He worked his ass off yesterday and covered Davies multiple times particularly toward the end. His final product is still shit but people do need to lay off him a bit.

yeah everyone says that. yet here he was today when we needed him happily switching roles and putting in a shift.
We had 0 control of the midfield in that second half due to his inability on the ball and Winks inexperience/out of position. When a game is going off the rails it is up to the MF to get the ball, control it and calm the game down. They were no where to be found.

I appreciate that he's at least doing a job now, but he's a bit like trippier imo. He's a speacialist that needs a specific system to be catered around him to fit his unique skillset. I hope he continues his form, but you can't tell me we can't do better in the summer.

He ran himself into the ground against Wolves and him going over to the fans after the game was a nice move.

He's still pretty crap though! Had he been bought for something like £10-15m we would probably be a bit happier with him, but he was a panic buy at £30m and had no chance of living up to that I think. If we have an option to sell and replace in January I reckon we should take it, but there would still be others higher on the replace list.

But he has set the standard for 30 million pound deals.:)

All those who have battered this guy since he's been here should be humble and give him props tonight.

Magnificent performance.

I'm one of those and happy to see such a solid performance from him tonight. And a general uptick of form over the last few games.

I’ve been in my opinion rightfully critical of him in past, today he was fantastic. It’s been by far his best few weeks or so at the club and in this injury crisis he’s proven to be a very helpful member of the squad. Well done Sissoko.

Very good game, one of his best.

That first time pass from a long pass to release Lamela was quality.

That was hilarious, its funny what a bit of confidence can do to a player. I agree, way better than decent today, one of his best performances in a spurs shirt.

As much as i still never expect him to ever deliver anything after his runs (it would have been goal of the century) today he was tidy and looked comfortable on the ball, its amazing what a bit f belief can do for a player. I'd still sell him in January if we were offered £4.50 and a used Honda Accord but today i was happy with him. However...
Magnificent

Magnificent performance.

Yep I've roasted him on here but he's been looking pretty capable in the last few weeks, right on time as well with all the injuries.
