Be interesting to see how much pressure Pool fans put on their team, second half of their season...and whether their team can handle it
Expectations will reach insane levels
I think BBC indirectly touch on this here:

Two of my mates are Liverpool fans and they seem fairly convinced they will win the league and get to the CL final and probably win it. I just don’t get why pool fans are so deluded. Yes they are probably favourites for the league but to them it’s a forgone conclusion. Apparently they are are the biggest club in the world, deserve to be champions and are run impeccably. They still think it’s PSG and City’s fault the market is so inflated and refuse to believe them braking the record for a GK and CD has had any effect. Im fanatical about Spurs, but I’m not dense enough to think that we are the biggest club in world football.Be interesting to see how much pressure Pool fans put on their team, second half of their season...and whether their team can handle it

Mate , they are single minded one eyed monsters, always the victims never they're fault should be their motto, I despise them more than arse and Chelsea combined. There's no other team on the planet that comes close ,it would be impossible to listen to if they won the league....Two of my mates are Liverpool fans and they seem fairly convinced they will win the league and get to the CL final and probably win it. Win our next three fixtures and we're bang in the race.
I think City could struggle at Leicester and Southampton, while Liverpool probably won't win at the Etihad.
In the two years Liverpool led the table at Christmas in the last 10 years, the side that won the league was in 3rd place at Christmas.....

Change the thread title ?
Why not just call it the race for world domination? Why not just call it race for the quadruple ?
Even if they were to beat us in the return legs, we could still win if they fuck up against other sides that we beat. Unlikely but possible. The difference between us & liverpool as it stands is the Wembley 6 pointer loss. And City beat us too...
If we have any thoughts on winning the PL this season, Liverpool away & City home - we got to beat them. If we dont, I dont give any chnace regardless of how well we do against other teams.

The only issue I have is whilst we are still underdogs and going under the radar, that’s when this Spurs side excels. The issue I have is, if we get to a stage where we are literally neck and neck with the leaders, could you trust us to take advantage and win a game to go top? Maybe we have finally learnt this season I don’t know.
If the league starts falling into place for us I think I might have a heart attack from anxiety. COYS
