I wonder if Parrott might make the bench, wasn't it mentioned by Poch that he'd joined in first team training a few weeks ago?

We need a strong team for this game.
Last year we played the reserves and ended up drawing with Newport & Rochdale.

Games sure are coming round fast at the moment, crucial to rotate and give the fringe players there chance, I would go with:
Gazza
Aurier Foyth Davies Walker Peters
Skipp Winks
GKN Lucas Lamela
Llorente
Subs- vorm, eyoma, Oakley-Boothe, Alli, Kane, Parrott, Trips

Would like to see us take the FA Cup seriously this year; if we don't win a trophy in 2019 it will be the first time we've not won a trophy in a decade since the 1940s! We shouldn't get too complacent. A cold friday night in Merseyside has the makings of a tough game.

Gazza
KWP
Foyth
Sanchez
Davies (or Aurier if fit)
Skipp
Winks
Lucas
Nkoudou
Son
Llorente

Lloris Rose Toby Dele Eriksen Sissoko Kane

Hate to say it but this is our lowest priority at present.

Well, if Pool beat City, then I'd say we are in position at league where we can achieve top 4 on normal performance, especially if we beat Arse at home, yet title is definately unavaible. On such situation FA Cup matters a lot.

Don’t disagree, but the Chelsea semi final presents a more immediate chance to win a trophy so resting key players for that (and manyoo) is the priority for me.

Hate to say it but Sissoko needs a day off. 4 games in 10 days playing every minute in the most demanding position on the pitch with the amount he runs

The midfield throws up a real dilemma as both Winks and Sissoko need a rest, I'd imagine it'll be as strong as possible with a mixed bench of cavalry and youth.

I'd go

Gazzaniga
KWP Foyth Sanchez Davies
Skipp Winks
Lucas Dele GKN
Son (I can't see Llorente starting).

Subs: Vorm, Rose, Eriksen, Llorente, Parrott, Lamela and one other from the Youth setup

As long as Alderweireld, Kane, Eriksen, Son and Sissoko are rested, I don't mind lol

Is Janssen eligible to play in this one?

I assume there is insufficient time to recall Onomah or CCV - this was something Harry did sometimes, recall youngsters to play in the first round of the Cup, then loan them out again.

We’ve got 4 days till Chelsea then 5 to United and then hopefully a week off. I think I’d start dele he hasn’t had that heavy a work load and Son as well. May as well get what we can till he’s gone. Get it won in 60 mins then pull them.

Gazzaniga
Kwp sanchez foyth davies
Skipp dele
Son lamela moura
Llorente

He didn’t look overly tired vs Cardiff to be honest.
Sissoko is a machine
