Something went our way finally, perhaps the wheel of fortune is beginning to turn. Like it or not Liverpool were as good as nine or ten points clear and are now only four points clear, that is a gut wrencher I don't care what anyone says.
No longer unbeaten no longer unbeatable.

Looking at the remaining fixtures, we have it the hardest. No way we're in the title race. Worrying for me is that Liverpool's run in is probably the easiest.

Sky Sports host just had the cheek to say "tempted to include Tottenham in the title race"! We're two fucking points behind City, that's all! The hatred for us from Sky is embarrassing.
It’s better when we are under the radar. Top four would be amazing this season given all the variables and anything else is a bonus.

Me and a couple of Spurs fans were in the pub and we went mental at the final whistle.

The belief is there. We can go to Anfield, Etihad and Stamford Bridge and win. BELIEVEEEEEEEEEEE!

It’s so upsetting knowing that with a few decent investments at vital times we could easily have had a few league titles in the last few years..we really are on the edge of being better than these lot but we just don’t go the extra mile

Little more complicated than that though. Most teams spent a lot more money than us, liverpool outspent us every year for years as did arsenal but we finished above them.

Don't know why it really winds people up that we don't get mentioned in the title race, it's bizarre lol

Agree. As much as it hurts to say it, I think those two teams are a bit better than us and more importantly we still have to play them both at their place.

Besides, I prefer it when we’re not being talked up in the press. We don’t respond well to it imo.

Thought it was funny at the end when Gary Neville was asked if there was a third team in the race, after spending a full half an hour talking about the other two - one of which is only two points ahead of us, and he simply replies...

'no, I don't think so, they don't have the detph' ?

If I hear that line one more time I'm going to rip my hair out.

Seriously though, we're 21 games into the season, not five and sit this high IN SPITE of all our injuries.

Am I the only one who finds the irony in this completely fucking absurd?

And that we're about to get Vertonghen, Dier and Dembele back.

Yet again, 10 sloppy minutes apiece against Watford and Wolves comes back to bite us on the arse, as that’s the only thing which has prevented us being joint-leaders at the start of January.

Hard to see us as title contenders at this stage given that we’ve lost almost a quarter of our games, but you never know. The lack of draws has bolstered our league position massively.

Yeah I honestly don’t think we’re quite as good as them, but the depth cliche is bollocks as illustrated by the injuries we’ve had. Certainly compared to Liverpool anyway.

I think it's disrespectful to not at least include us in the race. If the roles were reversed and we were top and Liverpool were in our position you can bet you're life they'd be included.

And yes we have to play them away, but you're also looking at the team who has the best away record in the league.

We all need to believe.

Hopefully. But it's feb where you see the true depth of a squad. The xmas/new year period is where it gets stretched.

I think full strength we are, or just about.

Injuries have hit us harder though, and yet we're still only 6 points from the top.

I always think you've got to think positive. Now imagine it's role reversal and its Liverpool's turn to suffer a few key players getting injured. Anything can happen.
