Those Leicester comments are genuinely fascinating. Their whole fan base seems lost, like they don’t know what their identity is anymore. They won the league and are still largely irrelevant, which probably feels worse than being irrelevant but believing you can change that.
They probably hate us simply because we’re still in the conversation whereas their season is over before the end of January.

It was a bit of a triple whammy for Leicester fans yesterday:
1 - They hate us (bit strangely so) because we pushed them all the way the year they won it.
2 - They suffered their very own last minute loss on Saturday.
3 - We beat the team who is managed by the man they all still love, Ranieri!

That guy moaning about us having 3 home fixtures in a row.... I assume he’s unaware we have one of the best away records in Europe this season, only matched by Bayern (as of 3 matches ago - and we have won 3 more away matches since). As long as we’re not playing a top 6 side, I actually prefer playing away nowadays, not just because we’re fucking awesome away, but because of the whole Wembley thing too.
So many things to be satisfied about in that thread... slating Nkoudou seconds before he provides that peach of an assist, slating Winksy because they haven’t got any like him coming through anymore and they’re pure salty about it, contradicting themselves regarding our supposed good luck then mentioning 3 of our 4 forward players are out for a while.
It’s just turned around. Not fully, we need to win trophies for that to happen, but the comments in that thread are exactly the comments Spurs fans would make for years during arsenal matches, slating someone only for them to score in the last minute and some people spewing hatred because we knew they were better than us. That’s arsenal fans now. Love it.
