Tottenham XI: Gazzaniga, Aurier, Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Davies, Dier, Winks, Sissoko, Eriksen, Lamela, Llorente.

Substitutes: Lloris, Rose, Sanchez, Walker-Peters, Skipp, Nkoudou, Lucas.

Where we ranting? Llorente? Aurier?
Llorente. Not even a contest.

Unless Dier is a center-half, interesting to stick with a back 4 in this one.

There's a danger we'll be stuck in a rut of sideways passing unless Lamela, Winks and Eriksen push on and make runs passed Llorente. If they all hang back waiting for someone else to do it, this could be ponderous.

Not the worst thing away to Chelsea.

Personally I would preferred to have Trippier and Rose as they give us opportunities down the wings. I can't understand Poch not picking Rose much these days especially as lately when he's played he's been our best player.
I can't see where a goal is coming from added to which our defence hasn't been at its best in recent matches so I worry about us being turned over possibly 2-0. Especially if Hazard has one of his better games. Somebody posted that Higuin wasn't registered in time but I thought they rushed it through so he could play. If he does it could be worse.

Dier looks like he's about to fucking murder someone in the team photo.

Let's hope so...metaphorically speaking of course!

Do I want to put myself through the next couple of hours? Not really. I'll do it, but not really.

Giroud is a dangerous player but he usually performs better when he comes off the bench at the latter stages of the game. So I'm not too concerned about him starting.

Looks like we're set up not to concede rather than to score a bucketload. Trippier has started the last 3, here's the time for Serge to have one of his better games hopefully.

Levy. Never leave out Levy when the subject is casting blame on someone for Spurs' failures.
