The formation is as much of a problem as the players. Son, Kane and Alli all played in the first leg and we were bad that day too.

Agreed. I'm not sure if it's players not up for the occasion or Poch changing our mentality in big games but we just keep seeming to make the whole team sit more. We don't even give ourselves a chance when we play like that cos we can't play like that.

feel sorry for Eriksen, looks up and the movement infront of him is crazy bad. llorente doesn't even
Perhaps his legacy will be a nearly manager at Tottenham?

Semi finals and done.

Seriously though, just a shocking half of football even with the injuries. I suspect 15 premier league teams would offer more resistance tonight in this game.
I agree Poch and Levy must be bumming each other. The things that he’s come out with recently are just bizarre, and this bollocks we will only get someone in if they improve the squad. Well fuck me any striker could improve us instead of llorente. He’s one fuck all in 5 yrs we don’t even look like winning anything, because we have no winners in the side. Until that changes??? Will be same old same old, in 50 yrs time it won’t say we were in the champions league in our history books but it will say a League Cup, Fa Cup winners etc. So if your not up for please Levy and Poch fuck off!!!

And again, corner comes in and second ball drops to an unmarked man around the box who can have a shot.

For. Fuck. Sake.

You have to learn.

Considering we're not going to have anyone but Llorente it makes sense to let him get more minutes. Let's face it, he can't possibly have a worse half than the one he just played.
Dragging him off at HT will do nothing for his (seemingly) broken confidence.

Pochettino is unbelievably stubborn. Whether it's the refusal to change what's not working during matches or his apparent intransigence in the transfer market. He's been an amazing manager for us but he certainly has his faults.
