It’s because we have no attack that the defence is under constant pressure.

On top of which, Chelsea don’t need to hold their defenders back either, because we can’t threaten , so they can afford to throw everything at us the whole time.

The absences and lack of top-class cover are the cause of all our problems, not our defending.
