The delays are not their fault. But the communication shambles is entirely their fault. They were so shook by the initial delays that they've gone into a kind of defensiveness, where less information is best. It's just infuriating everyone. The trouble is it's not really the clubs fault if they haven't got an update. Surely they're waiting for those working on the stadium to update them. If they were told to expect an update in 2-3 weeks then of course that's what they're going to pass on to the fans. If it takes longer than that then it's just more delays from the team working on it. The club is essentially just a messenger who can only tell us what they've been told. I'm sure Levy is there regularly chasing them up which is about as much as he can do. It's really the team working on the stadium that is frustrating me. I'm not sure if they're just not working hard enough (too busy on twitter) or under too much pressure to deliver unlikely deadlines. Either way the project that Mace are behind is running way behind schedule. I'm sure Daniel Levy is as upset as anyone.
