We were a joy to watch that 2nd hàlf, absolutely flawless composed performance.

Vertonghen... After the BT/Sancho love in 1st half, it took our super Jan the whole of one half of football to work him out and turn him into a ghost whilst simultaneously turning Hakimi ( he's from Real Madrid apparently) into Wiley Coyote. Incredible display at LWB.

I also think we could open a new thread and go 100 pages on 'BT taking clichè/ totally ignorant punditry to a new level'

Our 21 year old and 22 year old CBs were both fantastic in that second half I thought in a very high pressure game.
Jan though was phenomenal, one of his best ever games for us. He should be backup LB for rest of season if required.

Interesting interview with the Dortmund keeper on German television. Quick summary if anyone's interested:

"Dortmund don't have anyone up front that can hold up the ball, making it difficult for them to play against robust teams.

They have difficulties defending standards (corners and free kicks) and crosses."

Pretty much throwing his defense under the bus.

Eriksen spends all season hitting the first defender from corners, ready to sucker punch Dortmund in the CL when they were not expecting it. Now you can take proper corners Christian and whilst you are at it free kicks ?

After the 2-6 win to mark the 26th Wedding Anniversary Mrs Poch is going to have the best Valentine’s ever.

I bet Nando didn't think he'd be scoring a Champions League goal again. So pleased for him. He really looks like he's starting to find his feet again. It's clearly still in him!
