You realise they just came back from 3-0 down to Barcelona, as well as not conceding in the process? Hell of an achievement and that will up Anfield for the final league game. No doubt we’d celebrate like that if we got it into the final that way as well. Hate them, but give credit where it is due.

Yeah, lets not lie, we sure as hell would be celebrating like that too and rightly so IMO.

I think it's just Liverpool and Man City are streets ahead of everyone else this season. We barely laid a glove on Barca when we played them at Wembley.

That was before Sissoko had revealed his true, terrifying form. We’d batter the San Miguel ****s now.

Not to be all Andy Gray, but Barcelona just aren’t used to that kind of white hot intensity in Spain, are they?

PL is streets ahead of any other league right now.

Weren't Barca and Real undone by Dortmund and Bayern a few years back when they played with similar intensity?

I honestly would rather have faced Barca.
I was thinking the same after the first leg. Barca for all their single moments of magic at camp nou, were not as good as the scoreline suggested and tonight, they looked shellshocked for the most part. If we get through it will be nice just to get to the final - I can't however rose-tinted my spurs specs are, see us beating them. Let's do the job tomorrow and take it from there I guess.

Alba, coutinho and Roberto were terrible. Last week they played very well when semedo came on. Don’t know why they didn’t start him.

We can beat Liverpool
I think so. They’d still be big favourites, but if we played like we did in the second half at Anfield, and Kane plays, I think we’d have a small chance. They might go into it in a complacent mood, especially after this game.
Just a small matter of winning in Amsterdam now....

Wasn’t Rio Ferdinand saying that Barca were streets ahead of all other teams in the competition before kick off?
Can’t beleive I’ve watched Barca crumble like that. And to not score, ridiculous.

That should give Spurs another huge boost for our game tomorrow. That’s how you do it. Over to you boys.

They're too good for us imo. Especially with the injuries we have.

They're of course a better team than us but if we did get through I reckon Kane would be back at least. You wouldn't have thought they were too good for us watching the game at Anfield a few weeks back.

The noise inside Anfield was mental, they are proper cult like about anything Liverpool but that belief translates to the pitch they have turned over so many deficits like that in the past, it cant be all coincidence.
