Craig Johnston being the partner ( not sure if married) of Lewis daughter is an interesting fact I had no idea of. If Vivienne does take over one day good at least to have some football knowledge close on hand. Must say Johnston wiki page is an interesting read. From inventing the predator to going bankrupt he’s led a colourful life.

Given those sports dont have the global appeal of soccer, $1.62 billion(£1 billion) does not sound that nuts at all.

I will say though that is in a closed league where a lot of the teams are extremely profitable due to salary cap. I believe (could be wrong) that a majority of NFL teams make a boat load of money each season regardless of how bad they are and that's why they are so expensive.
